I will present a bit of an overview of biological control programs going on in Maine (although not exhaustive!) and focus in on a few of the more interesting stories.
Colleen Teerling
is an entomologist with the Maine Forest Service. She got her education at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and the University of New Brunswick. She has been working with the Maine Forest Service for about 17 years, and much of her work has been with invasive insects, with biological control being an important part of that.
