Plecoptera (Stoneflies)

The order Plecoptera include the stoneflies, and are hemimetabolous, meaning after hatching from eggs they develop from immature to adult through many stages of molting. Stoneflies spend their immature stages as aquatic larvae, oftentimes in streams!
