Hope you can join us for the Fall Meeting on October 4th in Clinton! It’s always a fun get-together, and the potluck buffet lunch is usually pretty tasty too. If you’re planning to come, just email Bob Nelson at beetlebob2003@gmail.com and he’ll send you directions to his home.
We’ll go through a few updates, including the Treasurer’s Report, minutes from the 2024 Annual Meeting, and an audit of financial records. We’ll also be holding elections for the 2026 term, for President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and two Members-at-Large. Other highlights will include updates on our communications, website and Facebook activity, and planning for next year’s events like the Winter Workshop in January, “Maple Syrup & Insects” in March, work days at the Maine State Museum Annex, and the Annual Meeting next fall. We’ll finish up with community announcements, insect-related activities, and other business.
One last note: we do need someone to step up as a Member-at-Large on the Executive Committee since one of our current members is ready to pass the torch.
